" But Why?"

We have finally reached the "but why?" phase. Until recently she asked "What's that?" about everything and everyone, but since yesterday, we have officially entered the endless loop of "but why?" - oh boy :)

Getting ready for new day care

Lily will go to a new "school" starting next week, and we are trying to prepare her for the new place (including the fact that she has to be potty trained and no more diapers, oh oh!). We are excited for the new place, but it will be a big change, since they are very structured and (asumingly) follow strict guidelines about everything (which could be good?), including which cartoon characters she can have on her shirts/bags/etcc (no sponge bob, spiderman, superman - all too violent). But the new day care is in a brand new building, with great teachers, and a great program, and we really hope this will work out for her.

Dinner at the houe of Hughes

While we were out celebrating Kari and Andrew's birthday, Rob and T kindly watched Lily. And cutie Sara was sweet enough to share food, toys, pretty dresses and her bath tub with lily - thank you!!!

No more "Binkies"

Since Stuart kept telling her every night, that she is a "Big Girl" now and binkies are for babies only, Lily decided 4 nights ago, that she doesn't need them any more. She still wakes up in the middle of the night and asks for them, but falls asleep after we tell her that we gave them all to Baby Dylan (Cecelia's little boy), and she accepts that.
She is a big girl indeed :)
