Sixth week 6/25 - 7/01 (Road trip to San Diego)

we got everything ready for our road trip to San Diego to visit old friends of Stuart's, Doug and Lauren and their 2 kids Heather and Max. On the way down to San Diego we stayed one night in Solvang, which was pretty funny. The next day we visited Shannon (with Luke) in LA, which was a nice treat. San Diego was beautiful, we took Lily to the beach every day.

fifth week 6/17 - 6/23 - Father's Day

Stuart's first father day: we went with T, Rob, Sara, Beth, Jamie, Keller, Nicci, Dave, Rachel, Cece, Hank and EJ to Russian River for the weekend.
We had a super fun time, with all the kids, and the dads got the special father's day brunch on Sunday. Lily was the smallest one, only 5 weeks old, but she was doing just fine. We can't wait for next year when she is older :)

fourth week 6/10 - 6/16

We all went to Karin's Birthday party (Luau)

third week

this week we tried to introduce the pacifier and the bottle - will take some time for her to get used to the "binky", but no problem with the bottle.
This week we had our first night out, Sping (our doula) was watching Lily and we went to see a movie (Star Wars III) and had yummy Sushi dinner @ Tokyo-a-go-go (my first Sushi in 10 months!). On Thursday I went with Lily to the potrero Hill mommies group at the Axis Cafe, which was tons of fun - about 15 moms with their little ones, all under 1 year. Great group of women, and I already go lots of good advice from the ladies.
